Welcome

We are a collaborative, artistic team specializing in underwater photography, painting, and glass fusion.

Our inspiration for “Below the H2O” springs from the florescent quality of light and the unique topography we have viewed during forty years of scuba diving around the globe. Our love of animals is expressed in “Above the H2O” and “Abstracts” combining watercolor and glass fusion. The “Photography” portion is a representation of the variety of life we have observed under the sea.

We use dichroic glass when creating much of our art. This glass has a coating which produces a vibrant, metallic sparkle that changes color at different angles under light. It looks similar to an iridescent surface, but is much more intense.

Daffy earned a Masters Degree from Arizona State University. She has been a studio artist since 1973. As an art instructor at both Colorado Mountain College and the Denver Public Schools, her expertise encompassed clay, glass fusion, painting, photography, and mixed media. She is no stranger to art shows; Daffy has exhibited her works in numerous venues throughout a lengthy and exciting career.

Al completed his Major Studies in Business from Arizona State University and he minored in Art History. His interest in photography began when he served as a photo-interpreter for the United States Air Force. His creative journey continues to flourish by focusing the eye of his camera on underwater adventure. Al not only films the beauty of the seas, he is up close and personal in his recording of it.
